Sizes

Our sizing is offered in two different aspect ratios, being rectangular and square. Simply choose a size and shape you like, if your image is not of the same aspect ratio, our artists will crop your image to suite. This service is absolutely free of charge. There are situations where you may have special requests regarding the cropping; unless this is major we will do our best to comply with each specification. Orders are delivered unframed as a rolled canvas, this gives customers the opportunity to find a frame which best suites their decor.

Optional Effects

Either have your photo put on canvas unmodified, or choose on the the effects on offer.

Brushstrokes ($12) – This effect applies a paint brush strokes effect to the background of the image, giving an overall look like it was hand painted by an artist.

Sepia ($9) – This look gives your canvas an age old, timeless look with an added artistic flare. 

Black & White ($9) – This look allows your image to have that extra artistic radiance.

Retouching

Before every order is processed out artists review each image and clean up any discrepancies that might appear on the canvas reprint. This is a complimentary service to ensure that your canvas is of the highest possible quality. Some examples are removing shadows from under eyes or just overall sharpening the image. If your image requires more extensive retouching there are three levels of the process.

Minor ($25) – This service includes any minor retouching that is still needed. Includes colour enhancement, minor object removal, red eye removal, date or stamp removal, defects or scratching removal.

Moderate ($50) – This service includes more retouching, colour adjustments and some colour restoration as well as more complicated object removal.

Major ($100) – This service is for major work that is needed to enhance the image. Includes removing major objects that are integral to scene, in addition to any replacement work and moderate recolouring.

Restoration

Damage ($49) - Cracked, faded, torn or damaged photos are pain-stakingly restored by our artists prior to being reproduced on canvas. This is ideal for old times photos that have beared the brunt of time. Included in this service we will email you the clean image to reuse.

Colourization – Recolouring older black & white photos. This is purely on a case by case basis, depending upon the degree of detail in the photo.

Framing

Each finished canvas print comes as a rolled canvas. This gives each customer the opportunity to choose the frame to suite their own particular décor.
